Terracotta portrait discovered in N China's prehistoric site

An archaeologist shows a pottery shred that symbolizes a Chinese character "Zhi" in the prehistoric site of Hongshan Culture in Aohanqi, north China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, July 3, 2012. A 0.55-meter terracotta portrait was unearthed during a survey by archaeologists from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Aohanqi Museum.
