Silk Road International Arts Festival

“The Silk Road” which was declared jointly by China, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, was included on UNESCO's World Heritage List during the 38th session of the World Heritage Committee.

The first Silk Road International Arts Festival was held in Xi’an, capital of northwest China’s Shanxi province, from Sept 12 to 27, 2014. During the festival, over 30 performances and exhibitions were presented by artists from China and countries along the Silk Road.
