An original Tibetan music album called Inner Voice was released just days before the Chinese New Year, adding a flash of color to the festival's accents. As the second album featuring the Tibetan Makye-Ame musical style, it includes 10 folk songs that picture the beauty, by sound, of the place "nearest to the heaven".

Tibetan music has its own distinguished rhythm and melody that express and explore human sentiments and deep love and a reputation for having the power to "purify people's hearts". The song,Inner Voice, the title track in the album, reflects local people's gratitude and love for their families and their pursuit of modern dreams.Potala and Filial Piety tell of their nostalgia and deep longing for their hometowns; Lovers' Songs and About Love reveal the romantic love between couples.

The album brings attention to two young Tibetan singers, A-Qia and Yange Drolma, who are from Diqing Tibetan autonomous prefecture in Yunnan province and Jainca county in Qinghai, respectively. They spent two years producing the album single handedly, from filming to recording and editing. The video was filmed in Lhasa, Shangri-La and Beijing, with beautiful scenery and unique ethnic cultural elements combined. However, what lies behind this nicely-produced disk is an eight-year journey full of hardships and efforts for A-Qia, the male lead singer.
