6. F(aune), one of Jin Xing's three favorites

David Drouard's choreography is a solo dance with a giant bear, a disjointed puppet that derives its animalistic force from the dancer's steps. David Drouard has taken great inspiration from L'après-midi d'un faune (The afternoon of a faun), the famous choreography by the Russian dancer Nijinsky, transforming the theme of wild seducer into contemporary man questioning his bestial side. The man in F(aune) returns to his primitive and spiritual roots which drive him, in a dramatization owing a lot to visual arts.
