The Little Prince, first published in 1943, is a novella and the most famous work by French writer and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. More than a half century later, this fable of love and loneliness, with watercolor illustrations by the author, has lost none of its power. It is one of the classics of 20th century children's literature and has been adapted to numerous art forms, such as a radio play, film and ballet.
