Exhibit marking V-Day 70th anniversary opens in Macao

Chief Executive Chui Sai On of Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) expressed the hope in the opening ceremony that the precious pictures displayed this time could remind Macao compatriots, especially the young people of the history and martyrs, and make them cherish peace more.

The exhibition reflects the difficult days Macao experienced supporting the country in wartime, he said.

Li Gang, Director of Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao SAR in his address encouraged Macao residents to inherit and carry forward the great national spirit.

The exhibition will last till Oct 4.
