Lectures on Peking Opera hit Lincoln Center during Zhang Huoding NYC performances

After Ms. Zhang's performance, Ba Tu told Chinese journalists that Ms. Zhang is a representative figure of Peking Opera artists.

“She inherited the artistic style of Cheng Yanqiu, one of the most famous Peking Opera artists in the first half of the twentieth century, perfectly and showed the glamour of traditional Chinese art with a unique personal style,” said Ba Tu.

“That's why Ms. Zhang got so much attention in the contemporary society. Based on her own conditions, she made a balance between tradition and innovation due to the needs of times and society.”
