Worshiping trees on festive occasions is a tradition in Jinping couty in Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Locals plant trees at the side and the back of their houses as they consider it good omen.
There are about 1,000 trees at the Dongzhai village in Jinping county. The tradition of worshipping trees helps protect the local environment.
