Fireworks are among inflammable items stored in the Qingfansi Pagoda in Xingping city, North China's Shaanxi province. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the octagonal, seven-storeyed temple measures 38.6 meters high and has a history of 1,389 years. Although listed as a key cultural site under national protection, it is poorly maintained and some areas are used as storerooms. [Photo/cnwest.com]
