China's "Youth Plus" Young Artists Promotion Project opened its first exhibition in the Chinese Cultural Center in Singapore on Thursday, bringing over 30 artworks from 11 young artists from China.

With the theme of "Visual Views", this is the first station of its overseas tour. This exhibition contains oil painting, Chinese painting, engraving, sculpture, video and installation, showcasing the essence of the Chinese society and appeals of the people living there in a brand-new holographic form.

According to Han Kunzhe, curator of the exhibition, Singapore and China shares the same culture roots; therefore, they did not set many limitations in the selection of works.

She hopes the exhibition can be a window and channel for Chinese artists to dialogue with the world on the common human culture and spirit.

Open to all artists under 40 years old, "Youth Plus" Young Artists Promotion Project is a comprehensive art carnival integrating creation, exhibition, publication, workshop, residential program and road show.

As a China-rooted international art project, it aims to identify art talents, record the thinking and creation of young artists and spotlight representative contemporary young artists through expert recommendation, self-recommendation, audition and exhibition.
