More than 30,000 pots of chrysanthemums from Kaifeng city and some fine chrysanthemums from the Beihai Park are on display in the Palace Museum in Beijing, which will run through Oct 16. The flowers are distributed at the quadrangles to the south of the Qianqing Gate and to the west of the Longzong Gate, Cining Gong garden, Shoukang Palace, Yongshou Palace, and Yanxi Palace.

Meanwhile, a chrysanthemum themed art exhibition is showing 215 items related to chrysanthemums, such as chrysanthemum-patterned relics, chrysanthemum-themed poetry, paintings and calligraphy pieces.
