Drama Desire under the Elms

Eugene O'Neill brings his characters to life with their desires as they fight for their goals, but give in to greed along the way and are trapped in the whirlpool of emotions. The power of the play is that it forces the audience to think about the meaning of life, and lament the price to be paid for understanding.
