The British Museum brings a hit show to Beijing
The British Museum's highly-acclaimed A History of the World in 100 Objects has attracted more than one million visitors during its world tour. That number is growing fast with its China leg proving a success since it opened in Beijing last week.
The exhibition evolved from a broadcasting series that the London museum started in partnership with the BBC in 2010. Each 15-minute program introduced one of 100 objects from the museum's collection that revealed the communication methods of various human cultures over the course of two million years.
