Eight years ago, the Hong Kong-based Television Broadcasts Limited, commonly known as TVB, released a costume drama called Beyond the Realm of Conscience to celebrate the 42nd anniversary of its founding.
The drama won great reviews from the public and received the TV rating champion of that year.
Now, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of TVB, a much anticipated sequel to Beyond the Realm of Conscience is finally expected to hit the small screen this year.
In the 36-epiosde Deep in the Realm of Conscience, the story is set in the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and tells stories of love and hate in the imperial palace.
The complicated human relationships and ancient intrigues will be explored in the costume drama.
On March 28, the drama's producer held a worship ceremony to pray for the success of the drama.
