Wales' works

BBC National Orchestra of Wales occupies a special role as both a national and broadcasting orchestra, acclaimed not only for the quality of its performances but also for its importance within its own community. Conducted by Thierry Fischer, the orchestra will perform Bernstein's Candide Overture, Faure's Pavane and Prokofiev's Classical Symphony.

Baroque music

Music lovers will be able to enjoy the essence of French baroque music presented with antique instruments at a concert in Beijing.

An ensemble of 12 male solo voices and seven instruments offer the audiences an evening based on Requiem by Pierre Bouteiller. Herve Niquet revived the name to create his ensemble in 1987. The trademark of the group is in taking on ambitious and original projects, specializing in French ritual music with a parallel focus on rediscovering a lyrical tradition.
