Rock and soul
Dada bar takes you back to 1964 every Wednesday. Patrons will get to enjoy the mod dance and music that was popular in the United States and Britain in the 1960s. Under the strict supervision of DJ Sacco, Dada bar promises to play the best rock 'n' roll 'n' soul.

Bigbang rocks
Bigbang, one of the hottest South Korean bands in Asia, debuts on the Chinese mainland on July 21. With their urban-originated hip-hop music and flamboyant fashion style, Bigbang will rock the stage in Shanghai, Guangdong provincial capital Guangzhou and Beijing.
The band will perform their latest hits including Monster, Blue and Fantastic Baby, as well as classics such as Lie and Day By Day.
Bigbang represented musicians in Asia Pacific and won the Worldwide Act award at last year's MTV European Music Awards.
After the concert, Bigbang will stage performances in Guangzhou International Sports Arena on July 28 and in Beijing MasterCard Center on Aug 4.

Guangdong classics
Guangdong Chinese Orchestra will enchant audiences with two of the top 10 Chinese classical musical works at its concert in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, on July 27.
The two musical works are Ambush on All Sides and High Mountains and Flowing Water. Spectators will be treated to the amazing sounds of traditional Chinese musical instruments including guzheng, pipa and erhu.

Black magic
World-renowned troupe, Black Light Theater of Czech Republic, will be in Shanghai in August.
The group has participated in no less than 65 international festivals and made more than 250 guest performances in Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australia.
Led by Jiri Srnec, the founder and art director of theater, the ensemble uses the "black cabinet" technique.

First-class orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is participating in the Summer Air festival in August.
It enjoys an international reputation for its first-class performances with the highest possible standards of music making across a diverse repertoire.
The legacy of the orchestra's flamboyant founder Thomas Beecham, remains until this day as the orchestra thrives under the exceptional direction of its artistic director and principal conductor, Charles Dutoit.
