To Live, a drama based on Chinese writer Yu Hua's classical novel with the same name, will be on stage this week.
The novel tells the struggling life story of a son of a wealthy landowner, who never gives up when he loses nearly everything, including his son and wife. The drama explores a peaceful way of demonstrating human being's dignity and one's respect for life.
The production of the avant-garde theater director Meng Jinghui features A-listers Huang Bo and Yuan Quan in leading roles.
