The famous Chinese science fiction writer Wang Jinkang and poet Yang Zi of the Qiang ethnic group recently held a book-signing event for readers who purchase their new science fiction at the Jinsha Site Museum in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

Blood Sacrifice, jointly authored by the duo, has been published by the Sichuan Literature and Art Publishing House and promoted by the Science Fiction World Magazine.

It tells the story of how a Qiang poet who can feel the spirituality of ancestral relics manages to take out two national treasures - the Sun Bird gold foil and the Gold Scepter - from the Jinsha Site Museum and the Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan, Sichuan, respectively. He uses his own blood to worship both treasures on a snow-capped mountain for the good of his country.
