Audio-visual art
Ellen Zweig has been active since the mid-1980s, creating audio, video and installations. Her works will be presented in the show, Wind and Sound: Selected Works by American Artist Ellen Zweig. There will also be a special preview screening of Heart Beat Ear Drum, a film about Zweig, followed by Q&A with the artist.

Social sculpture
Art critic Zhu Qingsheng will give a lecture about Joseph Beuys (1921-86) and his legacy in the contemporary art scene. Beuys was a German artist whose works were grounded in concepts of humanism, social philosophy and anthroposophy. He created the term "Social Sculpture" to illustrate his idea of art's potential to transform society.

Trio Arcadis was established in 2001 by three young artists: pianist Anne-Claire Lantenois on the piano, violinist Amandine Ley, and cellist Nicolas Saint-Yves, from the Paris Conservatoire National Superieur and the Lyon Conservatoire National Superieur. They have won several international competitions and performed extensively all over the world.
