Music takes to the streets
Nine musical groups and musicians from home and abroad will perform in a festival of world music at LifeHub @Jinqiao. Among the performers is a singer/songwriter who wrote the theme music for the movie Life of Pi, the Eva Quartet, a renowned women's chorus from Bulgaria, and the Dong ethnic group chorus from Guizhou who are recognized as part of the world's intangible cultural heritage. All shows will be performed outdoors and are free of charge.

Concert by Leehom Wang
Leehom Wang, an American-born Chinese singer, songwriter and pop idol, is set to perform in Shanghai. His musical style fuses Chinese elements such as Peking Opera, classical and ethnic music heritage with hip-hop and R&B. Wang has been active since 1995, releasing 25 albums that have produced numerous nationwide hits.
Wang received music training at the Eastman School of Music, Williams College and Berklee College of Music in the United States. Wang also works as a record producer, actor and film director. He has acted in films such as Ang Lee's Lust, Caution and Jackie's Chan's Little Big Soldier.
