Dream from the East, an exhibition now on at the National Art Museum of China, displays more than 40 paintings of nine Chinese artists. They belong to the Tokyo Painting School, a group established by a dozen Chinese painters living in Japan about 30 years ago.

The works on show celebrate the group members' influences which are deeply rooted in Chinese tradition and culture. The exhibition runs until Oct 29.
