Spring is coming with canola flowers, peach flowers, pear flowers and other wild flowers blooming. Walking into Xiaode town in Sichuan province, you will feel like you are entering a painting.
The cottages, blooming flowers, and the lively New Year paintings on the wall, look as pretty as a painting, attracting many tourists around the nation.
Mianzhu New Year painting was listed among the first batch of intangible cultural heritages in February of 2002. It is among the four most famous New Year paintings in China along with Tianjin Yangliuqing New Year painting, Yangjiabu New Year painting in Weifang of Shandong province and Suzhou Taohuawu's New Year wood-block painting.
