French Culture Month starts in Beijing

To enhance Sino-French cultural exchanges and contemporary art development, an art forum, as the opening ceremony of French Culture Month by the China Millennium Monument, was held on May 7 at the China World Art Museum.

As part of the Festival Croisements 2016 , this month-long celebration of French Culture Month includes visual arts, installation art, art film, musical performances, lectures and promotional events. Several exhibitions and activities will offer Chinese visitors a glimpse into the 20th century's French cultural heritage and contemporary French arts.
