Stamp drafts, famous works of stamp designers and the latest printing technologies will be on show at the Third China International Collection Expo. The four-day event will open on Sept 8 in Nanjing, in eastern Jiangsu province.

Launched in 2013 by China Post, the biennial fair has been a carnival for exhibitors and collectors of stamps. It has in recent years also included other collectible categories such as coins, badges and antiques.

The upcoming fair will gather exhibitors from some 40 countries. There will be six themed exhibitions, including one that focuses on the evolution of papermaking and art on paper.
