An art exhibition themed on the Belt and Road Initiative kicked off at the Palace Museum in Beijing on July 6, 2017.
The exhibition has more than 40 works of art on display by 10 famous Chinese contemporary painters, such as Liu Dawei, Jiang Wei and Zhang Fuxing. The works depict several types of Chinese styles, including landscapes, flowers and birds, and figures.
The giant painting Chile Qingcheng is one of the most attractive items. It is 80 meters in length and 1.9 meters wide, created by several artists.
The exhibition also showcases sketches and paintings of the landscape of countries along the Belt and Road.
