Artworks explore humanity's charged relationship with sharks

On Sharks & Humanity is a multimedia exhibition now on in Hong Kong discussing the coexistence of human and sharks, and sharks and other sea life.
Held at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the exhibition shows paintings, installations, photos, videos and documentaries which focus on the social, political and cultural topics that arise from the protection of sea life.
It attempts to raise people's awareness of the living crisis of sharks and maintaining the ecological balance of marine life.
It is held through the end of September and marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The exhibition was first mounted in 2014 out of a collaboration of the Parkview Group, the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and the international non-governmental organization WildAid.
It was shown in Monaco, Moscow, Beijing and Singapore before coming to Hong Kong.
