Art festival running in a Beijing mall

An art festival recent kicked off in Dream Show Happy Mall at Wangjing West Road, Beijing.

It's free of charge and will last through Aug 28, with a wide range of activities, such as art exhibitions, plays, concerts and forums. Visitors can also enjoy an art market where they can join activities such as making accessories and painting.

The festival invites more than a dozen painters and several sculptors to demonstrate their works. Artist Qi Xinghua, who is known for his three-dimensional painting, is having his artworks on exhibition, and will also paint on-site.

The shopping mall has art museums areas and one theater, making it a good platform for exhibitions and performances.
