A selection of Audrey Hepburn (1929-93)'s wardrobe and classic portraits taken by established photographers will be on show in Hong Kong from Sept 1 to 8, giving her fans in Asia a chance to closely observing her glory as a film star and her taste as a fashion icon of all time.
The display will be at the Landmark Atrium in Central. The objects come from the actress' personal collection of clothes, shoes, jewelries, photos and film memorabilia, now in the ownership of her family. They will be auctioned by Christie’s at a London sale on Sept 27 and an online sale on Sept 19.
Items include a blue satin Givenchy dress – Hepburn was the muse and most famous ambassador of the brand, wearing its designs in several films – a pair of ballet pumps, a script of the 1961 classic Breakfast at Tiffany's with Hepburn's handwritten notes on it and portraits.
