Modern artist's work inspired by old Chinese style

"I've always wanted to show this concept in contemporary art."
The exhibition's other series, Anthology of Visible Mountains, appears to complement his earlier series. Bian compares the display to the balance between yin and yang in Chinese philosophy.
The Visible Mountains series is composed of two sets of paintings.
Bian splashed vivid colors on some works. After the pigments dried, he tore them off and put the colorful stripes on new canvases to make a different set of paintings.
