Paintings, sculptures and installations are not only shown at the art gallery of Parkview Green in downtown Beijing but also, they decorate the mall's shopping areas — outside specialty stores and hung in midair — to thrill shoppers who seldom go to a gallery.
These works are from an exhibition titled A Triple World through Monday, featuring 14 up-and-coming artists in the Chinese contemporary scene.
It is also a highlight of the ongoing Parkview Green Art Festival which also includes exhibitions at the mall’s another art museum on the 10th floor.
The shown artworks at A Triple World examine how globalization and the lifestyle of going digital have reshaped, even overturned, people’s fixed conceptions of the rules of society and the interpersonal relationship.
