Hunan's 4A scenic spots ranks 49th

Seven scenic spots in Hunan have been listed among the 87 newly-approved 4A National Scenic Spots, as released by the National Scenic Spots Grade Evaluation Committee recently. The number of Hunan's 4A scenic spots took 49th place in the nation.

The newly-added seven scenic spots are the Hu Yaobang Former Residence in Liuyang, the Jingang Ancient Town in Changsha, the Qingshui Lake Scenic Area in Changde, the Zhangjiajie Great Valley, the Longnv Scenic Area in Chenzhou, the Shennong Valley at Emperor Yan's Mausoleum in Zhuzhou and the Qianzhou Ancient Town in Jishou.

In addition, the Luoxi Forest Park in Dongkou county was upgraded to a national forest park at the National Forest Park Appraisal Conference.
