Forum of Alliance of 16 Science and Technology Key Universities of China held in Tianjin University
On November 26, the 2018 Autumn Forum of Alliance of 16 Science and Technology Key Universities of China was held in Tianjin University themed with Deepening Reform of Science and Technology System in Universities under the New Era.
Over 70 leading representatives from universities and departments such as Ministry of Education attended the meeting.
Representatives from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Harbin Institute of Technology delivered key-note speeches. Participants held in-depth discussions on different conference topics.
Since the establishment 30 years ago, the alliance has served as an open and effective communication platform for the scientific and technological work of higher education institutions. It has played a significant role in promoting the development of scientific and technological work methods in the group. As one of the main members of the alliance, Tianjin University is willing to work with other universities to make further contributions to the development of the alliance and technology research, said Zhong Denghua, President of Tianjin University, at the meeting.
Tianjin University has made great progress in the scientific and technological work, making progress since the construction of Beiyang campus. Universities and research institutions are commonly entrusted with a new era mission to build China into a scientific power and technological innovator.
