YOOFU and UAE Embassy in China hold international visit for young reporters

YOOFU, an international youth cultural education company and the UAE Embassy in China held an international visit for young reporters in Beijing on the 18th, in which many Chinese students visited the UAE Embassy in China to study the culture of the UAE and learn about the characteristics and nature of diplomatic work.

The students were from Harrow International School Beijing, Primary School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Beijing Chaoyang Foreign Language Primary School, and other schools. After participating in the cultural and etiquette classes offered by YOOFU, they studied international cultural knowledge and went to the UAE Embassy for the international visit.

The attending leaders and guests of the UAE Embassy were: Dr. Ali Obaid AI Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to China, Mariam AlShamsi, first secretary of the UAE Embassy, Yasmeen Jamous, Media Researcher, Christopher Oniya, executive director and founder of YOOFU, Sam Song, executive director and founder of YOOFU, and Wahed Ahmadzai, COO and founder of YOOFU.

In his speech, Dr. Ali Obaid AI Dhaheri, stressed that the event was held through the joint efforts of the UAE Embassy in China and YOOFU, and was aimed at consolidating the friendly relations between the two peoples, especially the new generation, and promoting cultural exchange through official and non-governmental channels.

At the time of Ramadan, Dr. Ali Obaid AI Dhaheri introduced the history of the UAE and the culture of Ramadan, and explained the manner of working of the embassy and the mission of the ambassador to the children in a way that was conducive to understanding.

The children tasted the traditional food of the UAE, watched the movies and a PPT about the UAE, and visited various departments of the embassy.

In addition, during the event, the children also worked as "reporters" and asked many questions, for example: How does the ambassador feel about China? How did the UAE become a federal state? The UAE ambassador patiently answered the questions and praised the children for their excellent communication skills.

In the final part of the visit, the talented children presented hand-made gifts to the ambassador, and staged a performance, showing the elegance of Chinese young people, which was unanimously recognized by the ambassador and officials of the UAE Embassy.

At the end of the event, Dr. Ali Obaid AI Dhaheri, issued certificates of the event (with the ambassador's signature) for the children. The ambassador sent UAE postcards with his signature and seal, and the children finished the visit.
