The fall out from English Premiership outfit West Ham's decision to sack manager Harry Redknapp continued Monday when it was revealed his nephew the highly-rated midfielder Frank Lampard is to leave the club.

The 22-year-old former England Under-21 captain, who made his senior international debut against Belgium last year but was left out of the squad for the upcoming Mexico friendly, was very unhappy when his father Frank Senior was sacked as Redknapp's assistant earlier this month.

Redknapp told BBC radio that Frank Junior would probably garner the club up to 14million pounds (US$21 million) with Champions League semi-finalists Leeds United, where his friend and former team-mate Rio Ferdinand went earlier in the season, and Aston Villa leading the chase.

"Frank's my nephew and several clubs want him," Redknapp told BBC Five Live.

"I think Frank has decided he wants to play elsewhere now. His Dad was my assistant and he was very unfairly dismissed in my opinion.

"They decided his father had to go and obviously his son is not happy with what has happened.

"I think he feels he wants to go elsewhere and play and I'm sure young Frank will do that."

"They'll sell him for 10million, 12million or 14million. This was the chairman's decision at the end of the day," he added.
