Bosnia to hand over three senior military officers ( 2001-08-03 09:50 ) (7 ) Bosnian authorities have arrested three senior Bosnian Muslim military officers wanted by the UN war crimes court, and have agreed to transfer the suspects to The Hague, the justice ministry said late Thursday. Two retired Bosnian army generals, Mehmed Alagic and Enver Hadzihasanovic, and Brigadier Amir Kubura "volontarily turned themselves in after Muslim-Croat federation police presented them with a detention warrant issued by the Supreme Court", the ministry said in a statement. It said the warrant was issued at request of the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), which is seeking their extradition to The Hague.
