Collective food poisoning hits migrant workers

All 39 migrant workers involved in a collective food poisoning case have been sent to a hospital in Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning province.

The workers began vomiting and fainting after eating lunch at the Fubao furnishings factory canteen in Yuhong district of Shenyang, said 25-year-old driver Hu Wenjin, also a victim.

Doctor Li Jianjun with the local No. 739 hospital said an initial diagnosis revealed food poisoning as the main cause.
