Tragedy strikes mines

Miners and family members of the victims killed in a coal mine in Hunan Province waited anxiously for further news about those still missing on Sunday, July 6, 2003. A total of 26 miners died in two separate accidents in Central China's Hunan Province and North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the last four days. [newsphoto.com.cn]
