Commander Ding of the division said that, the division has consolidated armaments and operation command system based on IT construction continuously in recent years. They have improved old armaments with high technology, and the overall operation capacity of the troop has improved by leaps and bounds.

They have invested 14 million yuan to build an informationized training platform composed of an information battle room, tactics operation room and professional training simulation room. They have equipped with modern artillery group operation commanding training system, integrated with automatic office system, informationized teaching and training as well as online drilling system, which can provide training for 800 people and meet the needs of training in different majors and different subjects for a division or a regiment.

Backed by the training platform, operation under high technology can be simulated and online combat drilling can be conducted, making military commander training more scientific and effective.

According to Political Commissar Jin of the division, tackling key scientific problems focused on information warfare, is not a repair on the former foundation, but to fully absorb the latest product of contemporary science and technology, consolidate the old system with informationization, graft high technology onto old equipment, and make it more close to actual combat, so as to improve scientific training and make it a new growing point for combat effectiveness.
