www.nxnews.net (www.nxnews.cn) aims to become the most authoritative and comprehensive news website in Ningxia Autonomous Region, its Editor-in-chief Yang Xuenong said Sunday.

The website, dubbed as the fourth media in the region after Ningxia Daily, Ningxia People's Radio Station and Ningxia Television Station, was launched August 6 after eight months of preparations.

The website has both Chinese and English versions. It also provide news packages with detailed information about every aspect of the region.

In addition to the reports on the political and economic events in the country and the region, the website will put many efforts in covering ordinary people's life, becoming a window for the outside world to learn the daily life of the various ethnic groups in the region.
