Chinese women renew Asian record in 4X400m relay ( 2003-09-24 09:38) (Xinhua) China won the women's 4X400m relay gold medal in
the last day's competitions of the 15th Asian Athletics Championships in Manila
on Tuesday with a new Asian record.
The Chinese team, composed of Chen Lisha, Zhang Xiaoyuan, Huang Xiaoxiao and
Bu Fanfang, won with time of 3 minutes and 31.30 seconds, renewing the old Asian
record of 3 In the men's 4X400m relay, Sri Lanka defeated Japan to win the gold.
Qatar got the bronze.
In the men's 5,000m, Qatar's Abdulrahman Amri Abdelaziz crossed the finish
