Arena, SuperSonics' first round draft pick Luke Ridnour had 12 points and 12
assists in Seattle's 110-91 victory Wednesday over the Golden State Warriors.
The Sonics, in their last preseason game, had seven players in double
figures. Vladimir Radmanovic had 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including 3-of-4
from 3-point range. Jerome James made 6-of-7 shots and ended with 15 points.
Rashard Lewis added 14.
Mike Dunleavy led the Warriors with 19 points. Erick Dampiere had 14 points
and 11 rebounds. Avery Johnson also had 14 points. Calbert Cheaney scored 10.
The Warriors outrebounded the Sonics 43-37, but Seattle hit 52.9 percent
(9-of-17) of their shots from behind the 3-point line.
Golden State led 20-19 when Ridnour, the 14th pick of this year's draft,
entered the game with 3:37 left in the first quarter. When he went to the bench
at the 5:09 mark of the second quarter, the Sonics led 46-33, and he had dished
out nine assists to go with six points and two steals.
Ridnour only made four of 12 shots, but showed solid defense with four
steals.
