The report warned men not to follow strange women to strange places, to avoid being robbed or injured. A total of 275 suspects were arrested last week and a number of big cases were solved. Luohu police arrested two suspects who have allegedly been involved in more than ten robbery cases of sexual seduction in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Last Monday Luohu police also broke up a criminal gang of 13 thieves active in Dongmen. Road robberies last week were down 21.3 percent over the previous week. In Futian District, there were no reports of robberies by criminals on motorcycle for four days, said the release. The police mainly dealt with illegal saloons and dance halls in Baishizhou in Nanshan District in the past few days. Many citizens, especially bus drivers, actively participated in the reduction. Traffic accidents dropped 3.1 percent over the previous week. There were nine major accidents and 10 deaths, according to the report. Besides sexual seduction, the police also warned people to beware of car thieves and robbers targeting people who withdrew large sums of cash from banks.
