Renminbi businesses proposed in HK
( 2003-11-18 13:33) (China Daily HK Edition)

Joseph Yam, chief executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, expressed hope Monday on clinching a deal for Hong Kong banks to conduct personal renminbi business.

Senior Hong Kong finance and stock-exchange officials are visiting Beijing this week for discussions with officials of the People's Bank of China and the China Banking Regulatory Commission.
