The Orlando Magic overcome a 22-point first-quarter deficit to beat the Phoenix Suns 105-98 Monday and bring to an end to their 19-game losing streak.

Tracy McGrady just missed a triple-double with 16 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists as Orlando posted their second win of the season, 40 days after the first in the opening game in New York.

It was the largest deficit the Magic (2-19) has ever overcome at home to win a game and the victory meant they avoided becoming the sixth NBA team in league history to lose 20 games in a row.

Orlando's losing streak was the NBA's longest since 1997-98, when the Denver Nuggets lost 23 straight to tie the Vancouver Grizzlies of 1995-96 for the most consecutive losses in one season.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hold the overall record of 24 consecutive losses, set at the end of the 1981-82 season and start of the next season.

Drew Gooden led Orlando's point scoring with 21 points, 15 of them coming in the first half. Gordon Giricek and Juwan Howard both added 19 points for the Magic as Orlando closed the game on a late 10-2 run.

Shawn Marion had 29 points and 17 rebounds for the Suns (8-12), who lost for the fifth time in six games. Penny Hardaway added 22 points and eight assists.

Hornets 91 Bucks 85

In New Orleans, Jamaal Magloire had 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hornets to a 91-85 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

 Baron Davis added 18 points and 10 assists for the Hornets, while David Wesley added 18 points. PJ Brown chipped in 12 points for New Orleans.

Desmond Mason had 17 points for the Bucks, while Joe Smith hauled down 15 rebounds and also scored 13 points.

Spurs 96 Bulls 82

In Chicago, Manu Ginobili scored 26 points as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Bulls.

Tim Duncan added 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, who have now won three straight games. Rasho Nesterovic also had 17 points and seven rebounds.

Jamal Crawford scored 26 points for the Bulls and Antonio Davis had 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Celtics 102 Jazz 80

In Salt Lake City, Mike James scored 18 points and added nine assists to give the Boston Celtics an easy over the Utah Jazz.

Paul Pierce added 14 points for the Celtics, while Matt Harpring had 17 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz.
