Barca get home defeat ( 2004-01-23 14:55) (Sky Sports) Barcelona's poor season took another turn for the worse as they lost at home to Real Zaragoza in the quarter finals of the King's Cup. David Villa Sanchez struck the only goal from the penalty spot in the first leg at Camp Nou to give the struggling Primera Liga outfit a surprise victory. Barca will now have to win away by two clear goals in the second leg if they are to progress through to the final four of the competition. A hat-trick from Ruben Navarro helped Alaves grab a 4-2 lead after the first leg of their clash with Celta Vigo. The Segunda Liga side made full use of home advantage despite falling behind early on to a header from Mauricio Pinilla. Navarro levelled matters on 21 minutes and added a spectacular second seven minutes before the break. Pinilla grabbed his second of the game to make it 2-2 soon after the interval but Navarro completed his treble on 51 to put his side back in front. Magno volleyed in a third on 53 to give Alaves a real chance of an upset going into the second leg.
