Pearl Delta cities' living standards high

Urban families in the Pearl River Delta in South China's Guangdong Province have an average of two mobile phones, Guangzhou-based Nanfang Daily reports.
And one in every 10 families owns a car, according to a survey of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou and Shunde.
Their living standards is just short of those in developed countries.
Shenzhen residents have the highest per capita annual income - 22,672 (US$2,731.57), while those in Dongguan have the largest per capita living space - 43.8 square metres.
