Visiting Chinese defence minister Cao Gangchuan will meet Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes on Monday.

During the "reciprocal visit" both the countries will discuss ways to enhance military co-operation in the coming years, said George Fernandes. However, the meeting will not discuss the border issue.

High level discussions have been going on in full swing between the two countries since the improvement in relations after Indian Defence Minister George Fernandes' visit to China last year to resolve the border issue.

Two rounds of talks are over and the third round is to take place soon, said Fernandes. So this will not figure in the visiting defence minister Cao Gangchuan's agenda, said Fernandes.

The focus would be more on government-to-government interactions between the two countries to enhance defence and economic co-operation
