New air route links Guilin, Osaka An air route was opened in Southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Friday, linking the scenic city of Guilin and Japanese Osaka. China Eastern Airlines adopted a Boeing 737 aircraft to fly the air route which can carry about 120 passengers, according to the company. The plane flies every Friday. Flight MU367 takes off from Guilin at 9:45 a.m. (Beijing time) and arrives in Osaka at 3:20 p. m. (local time) via Wuhan in central China's Hubei Province. The return flight MU368 takes off at 4:10 p.m.(local time) and arrives in Guilin at 8:40 p.m. (Beijing time) via Wuhan. It is the second airline between Guilin and Japan after the air route to Fukuoka. Last year, there were 79,000 Japanese tourists visited the city. |
