Chinese Deputy Health Minister She Jing and her Mongolian counterpart Natsag Udval signed an agreement in Ulan Bator Friday to reinforce cooperation on health.

The agreement aimed to boost exchanges of medical information, medical experts and mutual visits to each other's health facilities between the two countries in the 2004-2008 period.

The two officials also discussed issues such as the prevention of HIV/AIDS and severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) as well as bilateral cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine.

The Chinese health official arrived here Tuesday for a four-day visit during which she visited the Mongolian Group of traditional medicine.
