| Flessel, who received the torch by Stephane Diagana, lit a flame a few dozen
meters from the tower to finish a 50-kilometer trip across the French capital.
Paris mayor Bertrand Delanoe, the president of the Paris regionJean-Paul
Huchon, and the Greek European affairs minister Yannis Valinakis were in
president at the occasion.
